I don’t think anyone else is releasing educational hvac content that is this well put together. Thank you for the service you’re providing the industry

I'm a retired civil/agricultural engineer who has battled to explain to various groups of people why their sprinkler/drip irrigation systems are not doing what they thought they were going to do... In my next incarnation I will simply play them this video...

I’ve been in HVAC for 35 years and only a very small percentage of people understand the fundamentals. I’ve been sending your videos to everyone I know.

This video should be mandatory viewing for all mechanical engineering students in college. Very helpful to understand a complex topic, and how to translate theory into good field practice.

This is so artfully done - I could see people who are not even interested in hvac wanting to watch this.

I guess for a DIY enthusiast, the main takeaway/rule of thumb from this if we wanted to build a ventilation is,
1) Use circular profile vents
2) Reduce number of bends in pipes. When bends are needed use multiple low angle bends to create smoother transition and keep distances of 2 distinct bends as far as possible
3) Use smooth surfaces/material for pipes
4) For inlets and outlets have a funnel of 15 - 45 degree (depending on space) to reduce pressure losses (similar to point 2)

Please add any key takeaway i missed :)

Not in HVAC. Have always enjoyed engineering and have been exposed to a lot more detailed explanation of airflow via forced induction in engine performance. The principles are the same, but with HVAC, humidity and comfort have a much greater impact and comfort. That said, I highly appreciate you bringing these concepts out to the public as subtleties between industries change approaches and terminologies used. Thanks for your work.

😭 anxiety is killing me. Mixed between excited that I'm learning what I've been trying to learn and scared bc it's still a bit over my head 🙃

I've been trying to understand this topic for a long time, and your video finally made it clear. Thank you so much for the effort and the way you explain things—truly appreciated!
