  The funny thing is that a lot of game design schools use this video as intro. I remember Japanese students reporting how this was their first time watching Egoraptor through their class.

  For those who might not know, he was making fun of Navi mode in the Mega Man Anniversary collection, which would give you tips or hints on what to do in the games, and a different character was assigned to each of the classic games. Didn&apos;t have to use it, but it was the easy mode for those games. Would also show a password every time you pause to look at the tips.

  I thought the video was familiar but couldn&apos;t quite place it until the blonde annoying helper gave me a light bulb moment. <br><br>That&apos;s the first video I ever watched about game design. That&apos;s the video that got me thinking if why the games I play are designed the way they are instead of just passively loving or hating my games. <br><br>He&apos;s quoted in video games design classes now, for very good reasons.

  The funniest (and slightly infuriating) part of this to me is that Arin says he wants less handholding in video games, yet on Game Grumps he CONSTANTLY ignores entire swaths of context in the games he plays. Not just tutorial elements, but also stuff like maps, quest objectives, or even character dialogue that explains where he&apos;s supposed to go or what to do. Then gets mad that the game isn&apos;t telling him where to go or what to do in exactly the manner he is ranting about here.<br><br>It happens so frequently that you could binge watch Game Grumps and turn it into a drinking game, taking a shot every time he does this.<br>You know, if you just happened to be suicidal and wanted to go out by disintegrating your liver. You could take shots of water and you&apos;d probably STILL die.
