  The part about Ziegler coming in, changing the game, and then bouncing before he was held accountable is 100% on point. &nbsp;He lost the plot...trying to make &apos;Apex&apos; extraction.

  And the sad part? All the developers who expressed how bad this would turn out were laid off, while the executives that ignored them get bonuses instead. It&apos;s an incredible level of mismanagement from Bungie.<br><br>Man, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WC45fzVfGoE&amp;t=4407">1:13:27</a> the parallel made here was crazy.

  It’s Crazy how often devs are right about what their player base wants, 90% of the time “leadership” ruin everything in every possible way because they think they know better because they make more money, disgusting.

  So the TLDR is that Bungie&apos;s leadership had a Tarkov addiction and that ruined their ability to make clear direction decisions for what a new, succesful Marathon entry should be and then they sacrificed everything they had previously built in that delusion.

  Destiny 2 was failing because it was the only product bankrolling 6 other projects at the time. Rather than recycling the proper funds back into the game so that it could retain the quality that it was known for, executives instead left destiny with the bare minimum and expected the same amount of cash flow as if they were putting proper man power and money back into the game. Same studio that told Naughty Dog that a single live service game would require 100% of the studio’s developers and would make it so they couldn’t work on single player games anymore, the irony.

  It&apos;s a Saturday night. &nbsp;According to Steamdb there are 3,800 Marathon players, 30,000 Destiny 2 players, 27,000 Arc Raiders players, 21,000 Tarkov players and 20,000 Mistfall players online. The audience Marathon wanted have moved on or moved back to their games of choice.

  Marathon should’ve never been made. Destiny was/is a gem of a game and they could’ve done extremely well with a Destiny 3
