I'm a young single guy and I have absolutely no reason to own a minivan, but I love things that are thoughtfully designed. This Odyssey is certainly that.<br>Plus... I currently have a 2016 Accord EX-L V6 sedan with the 6-speed automatic. Being an older Honda V6 with an automatic, it has some moderate issues, but man, I'm not sure anyone else has made as good of a V6. This Odyssey would still be pretty good with a lesser engine, but the V6 makes it special.

As a car guy, a minivan isn’t exactly what gets the blood pumping. But as a soon-to-be dad who’s tired of playing Tetris with family in a sedan, all that space and practicality start making a lot of sense—and when you throw in VTEC? Suddenly, it’s a lot harder to hate.<br><br>Just trying to talk the wife into this over a Grand Highlander or Palisade, anyone else got any thoughts?

I know I know.<br>I have an 18 M2 and 23 Odyssey. <br>I have long commutes so I found myself drive Odyssey much more than the M2. A lot more comfortable, and most importantly the possibility of dropping off the kids at school! Also the sensation of driving a slow car fast.<br>Absolutely get the "a lot of front wheel spin", forces drivers to coordinate steer/pedal inputs in turns ☺

Just rented one of these for a week with the in-laws. We put 7 adults in it for multiple hours and everyone loved it. Even drove it through a blizzard and it was great. I loved the rear powered doors, you feel like a grand chauffeur! Above 4000 rpm on the on ramps is where this thing shines :)

For people who have never driven a minivan.... dont hate on them! They are incredibly comfortable to drive and obviously the super spacious interior is unbeatable.

As a Mitsubishi salesman, I get a lot of minivans from people downsizing and these Odysseys are as close as it gets to my 2011 Accord V6. In terms of economy family cars, this is really fun, almost felt like it was the same car lol
