Hi to both of you, wonderful people. I will miss your videos and wonderful smiles and your love for Jesus. You have helped so many people by showing people how not to give up, just because things get hard. Your smiles and love for the Lord have been a blessing. I pray that you both will continue to be blessed and highly favored. I have learned so much from watching your videos. I pray that you both will continue your travels and have a great retirement.

the only thing I dislike about rv's is he doors are not wide enough and designs are not handicap accessible.

I owned a 2006 Artic Fox 27E, I loved it right up until the camper came apart while driving because of delamination. The side wall came apart and flapped in the wind like the American Flag. I called Northwood just recently and was told that they are still using Luan and not Azdel. This is nuts! Everyone is praising the Northwood which is built like a tank that is made with a backing of cheap plywood. I actually went the other way and purchased a stick on tin that I could repair if needed. The all fiberglass units are great, but too small for my wife and I. Why is Northwood receiving all this praise and they still use Luan?

We are selling our 2022 Tiffing Wayfarer. I feel guilty about it because I'm unloading the lemon on somebody else.

Purchased from a broker in 2024
(caught and repaired before 1st trip)
Wall panels Between bathroom and bedroom 1/4" too long. Staples failed and it bulged outward on both sides. I removed the panes trimmed them to proper length and reattached them.
Bathroom door improperly hung - would not close properly. Adjusted the hangers to it hung plumb.

1st trip"
Door latch failed - could not open door. Solenoid that transfers 12v power to the house batteries when the engine is running failed. (Repaired by RV tech)
Drawer slides failed on two drawers. Inspected the slides and discovered that they were installed improperly. The installers remedied this by leaving all the screws loose. Screws pulled out. I would up replacing every drawer slide in the RV.
Noticed water pump running when no faucets were open. Outdoor shower knobs hat turned. Closed knobs. Sensor for the gray water than '25% full' stopped working. Bought sensor cleaning product for use on next trip.
Entry stairs began deploying when vehicle was in motion. Inspected the brass door position sensor in the inside part of the frame and they were corroded. Cleaned the contacts and the automatic steps started working again. (inspecting those contacts went onto my 'before operations checklist).

2nd trip. Door jammed in frame. Adjusted door latches so the door mostly worked but could still see daylight around edges when closed. Discovered that replacing the drawer slides did not fix the issue that the catches were not strong enough to hold them closed when driving down the highway. Bought the latches that Tiffing was using for warranty repairs and installed them. Blackout window shades behind theater seats would not stay down. Use blue painter's tape as a stopgap on the trip, then removed the curtain assembly and tightened the 'hold' spring. Noted that grey water sensor was still not working. Tried sever different cleaning methods - all failed. After trip got under RV and decided that it would be too difficult for me to fix myself and that it wasn't worth the cost to have an RV tech replace it.
Noticed that the outdoor shower knobs had opened again. Inspected knobs and discovered that they were so cheap that there was zero resistance to turning. Any bump when attaching or detaching city water would turn them on. Used blue painter's tape to keep them shut. Discovered that the charging issues from the previous trip had killed the batteries. Had to replace batteries myself because Walmart battery techs refused to work on an RV.

3rd Trip: That window curtain again stopped staying in the down position. Used blue tape as a stopgap and removed and readjusted after trip. Noticed that pedestal table had started wobbling. More problems with the door. RV tech removed the door and hinges and discovered that the screws used to hold the hingers to the frame were not the required length replaced with proper screws and rehung door. I replaced the pedestal screws with longer ones. Discovered that somewhere between Rocky Mountains National Park and Grand Teton National park - the tube holding the dump hose had disappeared. Bought a new hose at Walmart. Bought a new hose tube and installed using bolts, lock-washers and nuts as a replacement for the self-tapping screws were used in consturction.

4th Trip. When loading RV for trip discovered that the water pump was no longer working, (Campsites had been reserved and paid for in advance) Drove to closest RV supply that was open in the evening got a new one and replaced it.
On trip: Door again shifted in the frame. Stairs started auto-deploying while on the highway. Shower head literally disintegrated while in use. Shimmed the door hinges with cut up pieces of zip ties. Bought household showerhead from Lowes as a stopgap. Blind again stopped staying down. Replaced with a new one from Tiffin after trip. Purchased new RV showerhead from Amazon. When removing the table pedestal I noticed that the base was pulling out of the floor.

Took RV to the shop. They had it for a month. They fixed the door by removing it and the door frame. Turns out that the door frame itself had not been properly attached to the structure and would shift with movement. Advised me that the screws for the pedestal were attacked to nothing but the floor itself and the foam insulation underneath. They added plywood underneath - but admitted that it would not hold for the long run. This is when we decided to sell the RV.

I loved using the RV - but I don't know if we are going to get another one due the the constant headaches.
