David Bowie and Marc Bolan were friends at the time, and they were the founders of "glam rock" in the early 70s. They were the very first men to apply makeup so heavily that they looked almost like women—that marked the beginning of glam rock. Best wishes to everyone from Hamburg, Germany.

What an era for glam rock. Bowie, Queen, T Rex, Sweet, Slade, Steve Harley and the Cockney Rebel. This is what started me on the Rock road
