I think $150 for 4 or 5 meals plus snacks is unrealistically high for most people. Two dinners, 1 breakfast, and one lunch, correct? One could buy all that in the Cafe car, but who would? Eat a good lunch before boarding in Chicago in the afternoon. Carry on a sandwich and piece of fruit for dinner. An oatmeal packet to which hot water can be added for breakfast and some more fruit. Maybe a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch. And then dinner in the Cafe car and a nice breakfast the next morning in LA. And bring tea bags or instant coffee. Just an example. I'm planning 8 nights of travel in coach. Planning to bring peanut butter packets, fruit, Ezekiel bread, my own coffee (either instant or a travel sized French press), cans of spreadable fish pate, and salmon and tuna pouches. Don't plan on buying much if anything from the Cafe at all. Maybe I'll spend $35 on what I bring aboard.

Food bag 8 x 12 ? Maybe bit bigger….insulated ,,,, FOOD, does it count as luggage !?? Food empty, bag crushes,,,,put inside other bag or tie on site, dangle. Ok ??
