👍👍👍 And an often-overlooked metric is the relative availability of timely repair shops and parts once you've gone a bit too far offroad and you need a fix. 👍👍👍

I'll take my Transit any day. Last year while traveling in the southwest, my van handled hills and ruts much better than my friends' Sprinters. A couple of them said they wished they had chosen the Transit instead.

We have been exploring dirt trails in our Quigley 4x4 converted T250 EB MR for 6 years now.  What we have seen is that although Sprinters outnumber Transits probably 3:1, Its mostly Transits that we see out on the more extreme trails.

I can only travel with full peace of mind.. on my worldwide backed FORD transit XLT. &nbsp;Only seing this sprinter &nbsp;getting all bent gave me ptsd of my nightmare time with my two first and last sprinters... what a non mercedes experience those sprinteres were.. and what a great experience anything with the Transit seems to be while commuting it to Mexico city and back thru the bajas to LA. &nbsp;every year and it Never fails. FORD TOUGH ! <br>fyi. your drone friend needs to keep reference of the far away horizon to give a better refference &nbsp;idea of your actual climb. And as I personally said to you at the Big bear show.. Lovely ceiling on your Transit.

Basically the same … however getting a shop to fix a break down on the road or parts, hands down the Ford is the winner. The Benny and propriety software most local shops can’t afford. &nbsp;Nice vid

Great Comparison ! With a Ford better dealer network , no ungodly &nbsp;A and B service , no Def, and &nbsp;exhaust particulate filter ,Egr bullshit!

The sprinter has the optional rear step and it was this that dragged. Anyone worried about departure angles would obviously not order it or remove it.
