I want Activision to have the balls to come out and retcon the game from 4 onwards

Rest in pieces 343. Rest in Peace Halo. You’ve suffered long enough.

I'm so sick of the infantilization of game devs that has been going in recent times bro

I don't remember the exact details but does anybody remember that one time where they fucked something up in infinite and one of the developers used the ukraine war for a pity party on why they weren't able to do their job and it turned out they weren't nationally or ethnically related to ukraine?

343/HS was the game development studio equivalent of an empty suit showing up to work just for the paycheck who got away with alt-tabbing back to his work stuff when the boss walked by his cubicle, for years, until they did it to the wrong boss.

“Halo would be in a better state if they just left it to rest for a little bit”

Good point. There WOULD be way more hype and prestige behind it if 343 hadn’t mutilated and mangled it

A lot of people don't get it. Those of us who hated 343 from the start knew Halo was dead once H4 released. Activision being awful changes nothing for us but does deliver sadistic pleasure in 343's terminations. I hope Activision screws the franchise so hard that 343 supporters will finally get to mourn Halo's death like I did.

Hearing Activision got Halo is definitely like the "We trade one villain for another" part of the scene but just before that, right after Arbiter killed Truth he still got a moment to let out a roar of absolute triumph. Rest in piss 343i.

“Your inability to safeguard halo was a colossal failure” Microsoft to 343

Smartest thing Activision can do is just pretend 4/5/6 never happened.

So Chief is Missing and you need to send Spartans after other Rings.
