This video shows the importance of checklists. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjS849ssgrw&t=720">12:00</a> the Pilot thought he had armed the speed break, and he HAD NOT. The CoPilot corrected him while doing the final checklist.<br>A very good landing by the Captain and excellent assistance from his 1st officer.

It never ceases to amaze me how well organised almost every aspect of commercial aviation is. So many flights, so many passengers, so few incidents. Undeniable progress despite the anchor of cultural tradition and blind faith.
