VIP culture, social media and influencers have killed Ibiza and most other places around the world. It's a disease. The good old times are never coming back.

I went to Ibiza in 2012. It was beautiful but definitely going to the big clubs was spectacular. The old town was indeed full of British style bars and endless drunk young people. I can imagine after Covid worldwide pandemic when everything was lockdown many bars/ clubs shutdown. I’ve been to Mykonos in 2013 and then returned in 2022. Everything always goes from being stylishly cool to oversaturated and ridiculously expensive and crowded.

9 euros a bottle-7 euro a can of magners and 20 euros plus for a cocktail killed it in my opinion

Didn't realise San An had turned so bad. Charging 90 euro to watch a sunset is ridiculous. Glad I experienced Ibiza in the early 2000's

First holiday abroad here 1985 aged 19, amazing place, food and drinks affordable, can't remember having to pay to get into any nightclub.
