  Something displayed really well in this lesson that a lot of people miss about funk music: you gotta leave space for everybody else. &nbsp;Like the gears of a clock, sometimes you stick out, sometimes you bring it back.<br><br>I&apos;ve been playing for 3 decades and I still play along to these and learn something every time. &nbsp;Butter and bacon bits and salt and cheese aren&apos;t a meal. &nbsp;Put&apos;em on a baked potato, and now you&apos;re cooking.<br><br>thanks for the lesson.

  I loooved this lesson!<br>First time bass player here. <br>I received a marketing email with an Ibanez micro bass on sale and I got it. <br>This is my 3rd lesson on youtube and I want more of it. <br>Thank you! <br>I think it is so important to play something cool during a lesson...it makes the practice feel like there is real progress.

  You have the gift. If I stopped watching all of the other lesson videos out there and just studied what you so freely share on this platform, I would be a markedly better bass player and musician inside of a month.
