  The biggest fault of the Pale King was that..he was actually good king, willing to do everything for his subjects, for what they genuinely loved him. His work was so great that many bugs and even higher beings are coming to his kingdom even after his demise and no wonder that Moths abandoned Radiance for him..

  One is easy to forget how much the pale king loved her. I mean he literally gave half their own god like soul to her. And I think that was partially to make sure she survived

  There is a dialogue in the game where the white lady refers to the pale king as her beloved wyrm. So adorable

  I love how the flash-forward while they were dancing implies that the Pale King knew the tragedy he and the white lady were about to go into, but he decided to pursue the relationship regardless.

  What an absolutely gorgeous day to be a Pale King fan. Both him and the white lady (not to mention the lore of the game) are captured so graciously, and in such a captivating way in this animatic. This puts so much more depth into the thought of their relationship in such an utterly beautiful, yet melancholic way. This is amazing. great job well and truly!

  I like this because the pale king is represented by most to be heartless and cruel but if you really think how hard it is to find a way to keep a higher being sealed and maybe sacrificing a bug is the only way, but in this animation it shows the hardships hes been through. Thank you

  I really like this take, how it shows that WL could shapeshift similarly to Pale King (and it also explains how she was able to fit in her chair in the nursery), how she resembles the statue of her in the beta of the game and the little pieces of foreshadowing in reference to the atrocities that would later impact the kingdom and their relationship with them dancing around in a room filled with corpses belonging to none other than their descendants, one of the bugs whispers murederer and as they look over the kingdom in their wedding day, the shadow behind them grows bigger and bigger-Truly liking the parallelism at the end with both of them in a way making their own cells with WL being confined to Greenpath and only having as company the memories she shared with her husband and PK in the White Palace (considering how PK´s final plan was to transport the Palace to the Dream Realm its not too far off to think the saws in the palace were both a way to keep Radiance out and making sure he also couldnt leave-a penalty of his own making, surrounded in an empty place that reminds of both his best and worst moments as a ruler and husband-wouldnt surprise me some of the covered stuff were things like wedding gifts or perphans portraits done by Lurien, at least one of them depicting his marriage with the WL)
