I just want to thank everyone who participated in this project for their time, patience and utter talent. It really is amazing to me that so many brilliant animators were involved in this project! You are all so committed to improving and developing your art and animation skills it's incredibly inspiring and I'm so glad I was able to share this experience with you. To our backups and everyone else on the server, thank you for being on standby for when things went wrong or extra help was needed. It was reassuring to have you guys to fall back on or ask for advice. And last but not least a huuuuge thank you to the outpouring of support from our viewers, friends and family. From the amazing turn out to the premiere to the supportive and kind messages I am incredibly grateful. Thank you all! And have a wonderful holiday season 💙

((NOTICE: To the person who commented that they had been having a hard time and the Empires MAP really helped them, I am so so sorry I accidentally removed your comment trying to heart it on my phone! I'm so glad we helped you out and I hope things get better for you soon 💙
If you guys reading this could help spread the word so this person knows that would be great, I feel awful about this...))

The best part about showing up to a fandom five years late is that all the five-year long projects are already finished

I love the transition between artists that like to draw PK as an imposing and serious figure, and the ones who like to draw him as a silly little man.

2:14 Herrah seems genuinely surprised that he accepted the deal. Like she wasn't expecting a yes and was like, "oh shit for real? I was just messing with you but ok."

Love the idea of The Radiance having her own sassy villain song mocking both the Pale King and the Hollow Knight

2:31, the idea of the Pure Vessel seeing the signs of its sacrifice before the event is a really tragic interpretation of it, and I love it

1:28 I love the idea that Pale King actually defeated the Radiance. Makes sense, because he had to have some control over her in order to lock her down inside Pure Vessel.

So the problem wasn't that he couldn't overpower her, it was that he couldn't kill her or contain her influence on other dreaming bugs. Which turned him to the Void

I love Pale King walking up to White Lady like a little kid all excited to show her his big plan

Love the detail how the hollow knight has emotional reactions to whats going on around him, implying his impurity

In the scene where the Pale King is talking to the Mushroom clan and the Mantis Tribe, there are four mantis lords, implying that the traitor lord hasn't betrayed them yet. I love that attention to detail.
