Christoph Waltz actually said the only way he would do Tarantinos next movie (Django) was if his character was the complete opposite of Hans Landa, Tanrantino agreed and cast him as Dr. Schultz

I've never heard Italian spoke in a southern U.S. accent before. Brad Pitt's character was funny as hell.

With the three fingers.  A German on another channel wrote he saw this in Germany.  With the build up in the bar scene, the entire theater gasped at the same time as any German would recognize the fatal mistake immediately.

Its hilarious when Landa made the three guys recite their names, and the one who claims to be the worst at Italian does the accent the best and the “best” is the worst at it. Landa’s expression was like “wow that was actually good, Bravo😅” lolll

Christoph Waltz earned his Oscar as Hans Landa. He was charming, funny and completely evil. A very entertaining character.

An extra detail of when Landa is questioning Shoshana is the Studel he orders would be made with lard from a pig which is non-kosher so its an added punishment for her as a jew to force her to eat it.

I saw an interview where Tarantino said he wrote the part of the Bear Jew for Adam Sandler. Sandler couldn’t do it because the filming for Funny People had started and he couldn’t fit it in. I think Eli Roth did a great job as their number 2.

The performance of Christoph Waltz as Colonel Hans Landa, is one of the greatests ever. What an amazing character. Terrific, classy and smart as hell.

Film was so fragile and flammable in the early days that only about 20% of all silent films ever made still exist today. The other four out of five are lost to history forever, never to be seen again.

Good job on the editing. Not too many reactors do a good job in that department.
