  just for fun and this does not likely mean anything. &quot;Sulfur&quot; in game makers native tongue is &quot;rikki&quot;. When used as adjective, it means &quot;broken&quot; or &quot;malfunctioning&quot;. Therefore if you strecth this beyond reason, you could call the sulfur god the &quot;broken god&quot; insttead.

  Random thought about the man in black&apos;s character is that he could be based on the gnostic viewing of Judas, from the Gospels of Judas, where Judas instead of being the villain is instead the follower who understood Jesus the most and was told by Jesus to sell him out basically. The Man in Black in this case stayed behind and maybe is tied to the old Alm views of tying people to the Old Gods like Alm originally did hence why he&apos;ll fight Per&apos;kele, someone whose using an Old Gods power as a cover for his own actions and try and talk you out of turning on Logic.

  About the horse thing, it&apos;s worthy to mention that in real life, at least one follower of jesus was mocked in a street engraving that said he followed a &quot;donkey headed god&quot;, so the link between alll-mer/sulphur and horses probably comes from that

  About the ranks of sulfur cultist being &quot;thin&quot;. I would put the blame on Legarde. Assuming that the logic ending is the more canon one I doubt he would not have tried to stop the cultist from meddling in his plans.<br><br>And there is the irony of him knowing more about sulfur than Nasrah

  You all may already know this but to be sure: Perkele is an old name for finnish/baltic pagan god of thunder. After christiany arrived, he was remodeled into devil or evil spirit. In a sense, he was reborn into his current form as devil/evil and catalyst for his birth was christianity, possibly having some ties ingame with sulfur god/alll-mer remaking him. <br> <br>This could additionally link perkele to gnosticism if we consider Rher to be a Demiurge. Sadly, sulfur god does not really fit this picture iirc. Unless the alll-mer was actually the not desired side and one casted to sulfur pits was the divine one.<br>Not likely but its fun to think about.
