  Carmen said some things in this episode that I think a lot of care partners feel but rarely say out loud: fear, frustration, grief, exhaustion, even resentment. None of those feelings mean you love your person any less. They mean you’re human.<br>So I want to ask the care partners here:<br><br>What is one thing YOU have felt but have been afraid to say out loud?<br>And for those of us living with Parkinson’s, I’d love for us to listen to the answers without trying to defend, explain or fix them. Sometimes being heard is the help. ❤<br><br>And yes...   This is the BeST speech I have heard about caregiving—for not just a partner with Parkinson’s, but any disease or condition. We are in our 70’s, a time when many conditions hit us hard. My sisters husband died last year from dementia. My friends husband had cancer and died this summer. I wish they could have seen this, I’m sure it would have helped them. My husband was diagnosed with Parkinson’s last year, so it’s new to us. I’m going to watch your video again, I have so much to learn. Please do more videos for us❤

  Thank you so much, Carmen! This is deep - and so true. I have been watching this episode as the one with Parkinsons. Your words help me to understand my husband better. We are married since 47 years and neither of us chose this disease. But we try to handle it . Faith and prayers give hope and strenght. Thank you for speaking about the hidden feelings.   Thank you, Carmen. I&apos;m the one with Parkinson&apos;s. My husband, the best part care partner in the world for me, died a year and a half ago. Bryce is blessed to have you. My granddaughter has been helping me a few days a week for the last number of months. She will be starting a full-time job now the end of the month. I&apos;m not sure what the future holds for me, but I&apos;m thankful that I know Who holds the future. The fear is still there, but knowing God cares for me keeps me going forward.

I am the person with Parkinsons, but I wonder how others feel about my illness. It is good for us to hear this from your viewpoint and with such loving candor! &quot;Doing Life Today&quot; is a tremendous gift to this community.🥰

  I’m the one with Parkinson’s but boy did this hit home for me! &nbsp;My husband had a heart condition and diabetes and I lived this also. God bless, this was important, thank you!

  This blew it out of the park. I have been Parkinson person but i have been care giver with all the baggage to parents and brother with cancer until they died. This hit a lot of guilt and junk you feel i finally feel normal and i can finally let them go. Thank you!!! Carmen you rock ❤️❤️❤️🙏
