Yes, to everything in this video, the wide awake times at night and the difficulty in moving, and the fear of paralysis.

The best move that I have made over the years apart from moving to the tropics is that with the open ceiling, I was able to attach a sturdy rope on each side of the bed, 1 inch diameter, hanging from the ceiling rafters to the floor. This helps incredibly for moving around and changing position as needed, apart from getting up when the need arises rises. I am seriously in doubt of what to do without the ropes as they make life so much easier, highly recommended. Life with Parkinson’s is hard enough without taking advantage of every possibility.

I love the new suggestions when I do when I wake up at two or three I’m usually really wide awake so instead of waking up with caregiver my wife I got out of bed and take something small that I’m working on and finish it up over an hour or so it takes my mind off of the problems of going to sleep and doesn’t bother my partner works very, very nice. Bryce thank you so much. That’s a great addition to my life and many others.

I LOVE my comfort linen and nightgown! When I got in bed the first time it almost felt like a slip and slide. I shot across the sheet with a huge smile.

Great topic. Some days I need to be reminded about everything that can affect meds.

I have my bed next to a wall to which I have had a grab rail fixed. This does help with turning over. Also I sleep in the buff so no getting tangled in night wear…

This podcast comes at a perfect time for me. I am having a terrible time with sleep, both getting to sleep and waking up in the middle of the night. Also, feeling physically sick - a levocarb wearing off possibly. As for the other things, I will start the exercises tonight. Getting sunlight is hard but other suggestions are most welcome.

I never knew that Parkinson's was causing my weakness when moving in bed. I thought I was just so out of shape that I just couldn't move. Thank you so much for addressing this problem
