  I can't remember the last time I was so thoroughly gob smacked emotionally, mentally, and spiritually as I have been just now. God remain merciful. The last time I cried this hard was the first time I heard Chaplin's speech at the end of The Great Dictator.

  Watched this episode twice and as I saw it again this morning, an old memory popped up from 52 years ago when I lived with an alcholic woman for a short season. I watched her in action and formed my own opinion back than and I hold this belief to this day : The truth is drunkards and alcoholics( without going through the very long 12 step process with a Reputible sponsor and continuing on a life long journey can and will create havoc in families, workplaces, ministries and communities. Without real help, &nbsp;once their mask completely falls off, their toxicity runs rampant and it&apos;s destruction has no boundaries.<br>Living with this Jekelll-Hyde personality was completely horrifying as a young adult between control issues, pulling others apart, gas lighting, manipulation, comparing through jealousy and the list goes on. I did not belong in her toxic little circle and she made it quite known I was an outsider ( thank you, Jesus) with her toxic behaviors towards me.<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; Some who remain toxic will appear at their meetings and than go boozing it up afterwards. This came directly out of someone who knew their inner circle. I can also say through personal knowledge that those who remain in their sickness will stand before a crowd of their own and throw out the most outrageous lies. If they can do this in front of their own support group, &nbsp;how many of them are actually buying into their stupidity? More importantly, &nbsp;who do these topics believe they are kidding? &nbsp;Sidenote: thank goodness for smartphones, ( not all tech is bad especially in an emergency)taxis, Uber, Lyft&apos;s and the likes today to call for those who are totally inebriated and depend on someone to make a call.....because back before it&apos;s time, some of the good, sober people would get a phone call from a third party at 2:00 am to go and pick up so and so who&apos;s lying in the gutter....and the poor &nbsp;sober ones had to be to work at 5:00 am.....noone cared about boundaries crossed until the sober ones finally had enough and told third party, second party, and first party to go to hell. Truth was confirmed.
