  What gets me is that two people can earn exactly the same amount of money and have completely different lives because of what si ts behind that income. One owns something, has flexibility and can step away. The other has to keep showing up every morning or the whole thing stops. The Rules Behind The Curtain by Elias Morgan touches on this and this video explains the same basic problem without all the dramatic “get rich” nonsense. That distinction matters way more than people think.

  The uncomfortable part is realizing how many things we call “normal” simply because everybody &nbsp;around us is doing them. Get the job, upgrade the car, increase your income, increase your expenses, repeat. I came across the same idea while reading The Rules Behind The Curtain by Elias Morgan and at first I thought the author was reaching a little lol. Then you start looking around and noticing how automatic some of these decisions actually are.

  This reminds me of something I noticed a while ago... peop le will research a $900 phone for three weeks but make decisions involving the next 10 years of their life because “that&apos;s what you&apos;re supposed to do.” Career, mortgage, debt, where they live, everything. The Rules Behind The Curtain by Elias Morgan gets into that automatic decision-making side of things and honestly that&apos;s probably the part people should pay more attention to than all the mysterious power stuff.
