  great video.  outerwear is a common weakness for guys who often just buy oversized puffers and Patagonia vests.   tailored coats truly elevate any wardrobe. thank you!

  I'm so glad I bought my pea coat and wool overcoat back in the 90s.  I'm finding that newer coats are getting thinner as the years go on.

  I´ve tried many coats but I only wear brown raglan coat (balmacaan if you need) and a typical car coat=Mac. Copy of a Crombie, not so good pea coat from military surplus...they all just weren´t it. I like the look of a duffle coat but I´m afraid I would wear my favs and leave it in a closet. Oh and great alternative to a parka is M65 field jacket.

  Forty coats? I thought I had a coat fetish…for some reason I’ve always loved coats and jackets, which is strange because I live in north Texas and we don’t have long winters, when it does get really cold it’s often accompanied by an ice storm which means we don’t leave the house…that being said, I own far too many coats for our climate. The last couple of years watching vids like yours I’ve gotten rid of misc coats and started to acquire more quality winter wear, primarily on the used market. I’ve recently acquired a beautiful camel hair overcoat, suede & a denim trucker, the billy Reid navy Peacoat which I love they way it fits, a suede Harrington jacket and a wool bomber, all from quality men’s wear brands at used coat prices…so I am looking forward to the cooler weather coming hopefully soon…despite having too many coats I find myself browsing eBay for more coats…😂
