  I went to a Yardsale and guy was selling furniture and this huge dining table in the middle of the yard and on the middle of the table was this Motorola thermostat for houses you control your air-conditioning unit heating it was sealed and it said Motorola so I was like OK hey how much do you want for this three bucks sold and I don&apos;t know I had a weird feeling about it so I told my wife we&apos;re in the car and about to head to the next Yardsale right around the corner. I said I&apos;m just gonna post it and it&apos;s a picture of my hand on the dashboard holding it took a picture listed. It started driving and not two minutes later I&apos;m already pulling into the next yard sale and it was sold for 105 bucks. That&apos;s the fastest sale I&apos;ve ever had. &nbsp;I turned around and I went back to the Yardsale and I said hey if you got any more of these and he showed me a big box full of them and I ended up buying the entire box for like $40 ended up making I don&apos;t know maybe $1200 on the on that.

  My fastest was a rare, antique corkscrew that sold for over $200 plus shipping. Time listed was about 15 minutes, with multiple people interested. I&apos;d bought a lot of silverware at auction for $11 because I wanted the steak knives, and that was in the lot.<br><br>We quite often get things that sell within a day or two of listing. Then there are those duds with 700+ days listed that we&apos;re slowly clearing out. We&apos;ve learned a lot in the last few years. 🙂

  I went to an estate sale last day $5 fill a bag and grabbed some little purses. One was a small red rattan Raphael Sanchez sold within hours for $200.

  Just starting and learning what sells or not and I&apos;m always surprised at what people will spend money on! &nbsp;I picked up 5 vintage 60s fingertip towels at an estate sale and they sold within ours. &nbsp;I probably priced them too low but I couldn&apos;t find anything comparable. &nbsp;But as long as I am making a decent profit, I would rather sell things quickly than get top dollar. &nbsp;At least at this stage as I am learning and trying to decide if I want to stick with it. &nbsp;I started with my kids college books and those sold pretty quickly at the end of August as other students were picking them up before starting classes.

  The bears won’t bother you unless they feel cornered. Momma bear might. We have them all the time in nc. Lots of teenagers that have been kicked away from their mom are showing up. One was just hanging out for a hour at 11.m. &nbsp;Just enjoy watching them keep you dog in.
