What a great video! And I REALLY like Scott! What a wonderful new friend you have! His story is super interesting. I love that there are benefits to government employees of his stature to help when moving to another country.

Hey Archie—Always a great interview… you’re exceptional at it. Like Scott, I retired just a year ago… and I’m not living in Southern Leyte right across from Bohol. I’m in the last few weeks of waiting for my SRRV Visa application ($15K) to be approved. As we’re in the last few weeks of house design work with our architect, we just spent a few days driving throughout Bohol and a time on Pangloa even made it to see someone you know very well, Matt and April (Grounded Nomads). Your name came up as I told Matt how your interview videos are some of the best. If you’re ever in Southern Leyte, come on over. -Joe

New subscriber after seeing Britt's interview with you. Like Archie, we're coming to the PH as a couple and a dependent adult son on a SRRV in Sept 2028. Great info on Bohol! Def will check it out more in our research. Thank you!

Cebu City is a short ferry ride away. Bohol has very good roads as well. There are also direct flights from Bohol to Seoul, where one can connect to the US.
