After 40+ Countries, Is the Philippines Our Best Family Adventure Yet? 🇵🇭

After traveling to 40+ countries with our five kids, we wanted to answer one big question: Is the Philippines the ultimate family adventure destination? 🇵🇭 So we spent weeks exploring some of the Philippines' most incredible destinations and experiences, from swimming with whale sharks and canyoneering through waterfalls to exploring El Nido, sailing between islands, and discovering Coron. By the end of the trip, we had an answer... and the Philippines ended up surprising us more than we ever expected. In this Philippines family travel vlog, we're taking you along for one of the most adventurous trips we've ever taken as a family. We started in Cebu, traveling south to Oslob to swim alongside enormous whale sharks. Getting into the water and seeing these incredible creatures up close was an unforgettable experience, and one of the things we loved most was that it was an adventure our entire family could enjoy together. Then came one of the biggest highlights of our entire world trip: canyoneering at Kawasan Falls. From a Superman-style zipline to swimming through turquoise water, climbing through the canyon, and jumping from waterfalls, this became one of the most memorable adventure days we've ever experienced as a family. The guides helped make the experience fun and accessible for the whole family, and watching our kids push themselves outside their comfort zones made the experience even more meaningful. From Cebu, we headed toward Palawan and eventually made our way to El Nido, where we explored some of the Philippines' famous limestone cliffs, lagoons, beaches, caves, and islands. We took boat excursions through the Big Lagoon, explored hidden beaches and caves, and experienced the incredible scenery that makes Palawan one of the most famous destinations in the Philippines. But our biggest adventure was still ahead. We sailed from El Nido to Coron on a two-night, three-day island adventure aboard a bamboo catamaran with a private crew. Along the way, we explored remote islands, jumped from cliffs, snorkeled, saw incredible marine life, played basketball with kids on a remote island, and even spent nights camping in simple island huts. It wasn't the most luxurious part of the trip, but it may have been one of the most memorable. And that's really what made the Philippines different for us. This wasn't simply a trip filled with beautiful beaches and tropical scenery. It challenged us, pushed us outside our comfort zones, brought us closer together, and created the kind of family memories we know we'll carry with us for the rest of our lives. So after traveling to more than 40 countries with our kids, does the Philippines really deserve to be called the ultimate family adventure destination?
