The cameraman is the most highly trained lethal operator in the world. I would hate to mess up his camera shot.

My friend is a U.S. sniper (10 years) and said that this training didn't prepare him. When he was out in the field he had to learn almost everything from his on-site training unit and it was like boot camp all over again, except that his life was actually on the line. i.e. they use heat sig cameras now so camo is less relevant than total concealment behind large objects.

They get drowned in tomato soup? I thought America was already taking it too far with the waterboarding

I'd love to see an interview with the one woman that passed sniper school! I bet she's a total badass.

honestly it looks easy when they put it here. but what we don't see is the after math. these soldiers go through a lot physically and mentally. being away from home, long nights after training to wake up every hour for fire watch. having to mentally be there with out sleep and getting yelled at. drinking garbage water from a fossette.  I respect the hell out of these guys and all service members. thank you for your service! if only America could give you back what you deserve

I don't have the patience to be a sniper plus the fact that I couldn't even think about getting through the training process.  Much respect for what these soldiers do.

Served with SFC Pharr during my tour in Germany back in 2014(he was a CPL at the time). Now he's a SFC and a Sniper School Instructor, which doesn't surprise me. Great dude and had the respect of all his junior soldiers. Super happy for him.

Honestly, I really like the creative element of the ghillie suit. I never knew there was so much craftsmanship and thought put into them.

All these videos do more good for recruitment than any commercial will ever do. 👏

I am a former instructor at the 2nd Marine Division Scout Sniper School. Our students didn't need further instruction on being miserable. We taught the basics (which is what counts) and made them perform. At my time it was 8 weeks (6 days a week). Our students shoot out to 1,000 yards. Each service has their own needs. The Army snipers have proven to be top notch.
