  The Angels really don&apos;t have a team identity, the defense is bad, &nbsp;the offense is bad, hitting with RISP is bad, the K rate is horrible, and the bullpen is a dumpster fire. The interesting thing is, for so many years the starting pitching has been horrible too, they didn&apos;t draft well for starting pitching, Moreno didn&apos;t want to spend money on top starters, &nbsp;and routinely signed pitchers past their prime or reclamation projects that never panned out. But if there is one bright spot for the Angels right now, it is the talented young starting pitching. With a new owner willing to do what it takes to win and some good young starters already in the system, the rebuild has a great foundation.

Mailbags are some of my favorite episodes. &nbsp;Listening to this show, I always learn something new and come away smarter than before. <br><br>I especially love listening to Mark breaking down swings. Your insight helps me to see the game differently when I&apos;m watching.<br><br>Fun fact for Mikey D: Both my Dad and I worked for the LA Times. I had a temporary stint in OC, but my Dad was a lifer worked (in Production) at both OC and the Olympic Plant. (By the way, being a fellow Italian-American, the last name is pronounced &quot;Oh-So&quot;.)

  What hasn&apos;t been talked about is that the new owner has done these big moves in leagues with salary caps ( not sure about the premiere league ), but the NFL, NBA and the NHL all have salary caps.

  My predictions on Kroenke&apos;s 2027 moves: &nbsp; 1) &nbsp;Get the front office set up and hand the reigns over to them, &nbsp;2) &nbsp;Work on purchasing the land in Anaheim, &nbsp;3) &nbsp;Fast track building a new stadium, &nbsp;4) Start the long process of building the franchise back up in areas like scouting, &nbsp;development, &nbsp;facilities, &nbsp;etc.

  I can’t believe that the Dodgers can rehab a stadium that’s only six years older than Angel Stadium. Just do it better than the dodgers did. That would be making a statement right there.
