  You&apos;d hate Old Man Culpepper, my magic battle hobo.<br>Enchanted ragged trousers, foot wraps, mage hood, gloves.<br>With a chaos/fiery souls wooden sword in case things get personal (only because I can&apos;t enchant and use a &nbsp;shovel).

  There is only one thing more scary then a dark elf in ebony armor and a big two handed sword.<br><br>When they start throwing chain lightening as your bandit raid is charging at it

  I&apos;ve always used light armor on my mages until this current playthrough. I&apos;m using robes for the first time along with the alteration armors. That said, black mages boots and necromancer boots are plentiful.

  An Archmage would know more than just destruction school spells I would hope. Add stone skin and maybe even tree rings to self first and cast conjure frost atronach, then you enter combat. You can also use conjuration spells as mine sweeper on mobs in dungeons.

  That you can’t enchant or improve the robes is the biggest problem.

  Heavy armor reduces the amount of potions you can carry. I play in “Survival Mode” do this is accented more. Light armor that is more fashionable, so a dandy mage, that can use arms as well. I have a light armored hood that I can also use a mask with.

  Full ebony wearing Ahzidal or Zahkriisos looks amazing though. <br>I skip resist fire, frost, as well as shock, and typically instead am a Breton with Agent of Mara, Atronach Stone, and the alteration magic resistance perks. I focus on incinerate, including the bonus from the aspect of terror perk, with lightning as a backup. I have silent casting and muffle on boots, but it does not matter how many enemies the game throws at me; I turned the ebony warrior into an afterthought and made Kaarstaag look like a joke on legendary. Also, yes, frequently a vampire with Necromage. <br>I will clear everybody in a dungeon faster than a stealth archer dreamed possible because I am sprinting through it.

  They really should have had no &nbsp;cost reduction to spells, but instead added increased effects.<br><br>So for destruction a novice distraction robe would increase destruction spell damage by 50%<br><br>Master would be 250% bonus damage.
