  Yea! You made it to Houston. Little Saigon is located in Alief, TX - a suburb of Houston.  This is where I grew up & it was great to see you driving thru my old hood.  HTown does have a small Koreatown which is located in the Spring Branch area.  There is also a booming new Asia town in Katy, TX.  Glad to see you enjoyed the dim sum.  Thanks for sharing your adventure AK! : )

  I remembered when the old Viet town was in Midtown and Chinatown was in Eado. Slowly everything shifted towards the edge of the city & suburbs (Alief). In the early 80's there was only Diho Square. Dynasty Mall opened up around 86 and was the 2nd indoor Asian Mall after Crystal Palace in Midtown. Now things are starting to shift again towards the new Katy Asia Town

  It’s nice you gave the video of Little Saigon and Chinatown in Houston. <br><br>Shows how diverse Houston is. Almost as diverse as NY and LA. <br><br>Also you can easily try showing the Little Manila block near NRG. Much much easier since it’s smaller.

  I finally got the chance to watch this video. It&apos;s quite overwhelming seeing so many strip malls, but I like how everything is so spacious with plenty of free parking. It was nice to see familiar chain restaurants, eateries, and tea shops. 😃 Thank you for sharing this drive of Houston&apos;s Little Saigon and Chinatown, AK! 🤗

  I love this video it&apos;s so cool to see an area I&apos;m actually familiar with I worked in this area for many years &nbsp;I only wish it was pedestrian friendly

  Chinatown in Houston looks great with all those stores , massage parlors and several different busineses ,something for everyone 😎Nice drive and sight seeing to showing us the places and different shopping oppurtunities etc , therefore🙂Thank you for sharing this enjoyable and relaxing drive A K 🙂👍!!

  I didn&apos;t know that there&apos;s such a huge China Town in Houston...the place is huge and need a car to move around ....lots of eateries &amp; restaurants..the Saigon Town is another huge neighbourhood and AK seems to be captivated by the foods..<br>Nice to taste them all. Thanks AK, for showing us around the neighbourhood 🎉😂

  In the late 70&apos;s and early 80&apos;s The area that you refer to as China Town was predominantly Vietnamese &nbsp;It is part of Greater Sharpstown. &nbsp; The shopping Center &nbsp; The Vietnamese Community spread to the west beyond the freeway to an area called Alief. &nbsp;The first center there on on the north side of Bellaire that had the Tapioca house was a an all western center with Walgreens, hobby shop and Furrs cafeteria. &nbsp;The center you went across the street to the west that has the Tan Tan was one of the first to become predominantly Vietnamese. &nbsp;IT originally had a Mr. Gatti&apos;s Pizza there. The Chinese came in the mid to late nineties and built the large shopping center that is two stories tall the one you said was deep. &nbsp;That area mall and one with Hmart, that is super busy at night and on weekends. &nbsp;You also went into one that was Bellaire Food Street is new and another one like it is being built to the east where the apartments are.<br><br><br>Korean Town is north of I-10 On Longpoint and Blalock. &nbsp;IT is nowhere as Big as China town. &nbsp;Another area is Asian Town in Katy on I-10 at Tollway 99

  Most Korean places are around Long Point Road spanning several blocks from Gessner to Blalock, it&apos;s about 7 miles north of Bellaire Asiantown.

  Thanks for showing the diversity of Chinatown and Little Saigon. I like visiting the Hong Kong Mall. Hope you enjoyed your visit, maybe next time you could tour Mahatma Ghandi District.
