I think I've learned more from Januszczak in two weeks of watching his documentaries than 4 years of Fine Arts. FANTASTIC!

 On the cross:
"This is a rather wonky specimen, which is why I like it so much. It's not quite right...so you just want to hug it."
:) I love his quirky humor.

Waldemar’s Perspective productions are like a combination of travelogue, sociology, psychology, geography, history, and art - all delivered in a style that is entertaining and accessible for the lay person. He gives the viewer the perspective of art history from both the forest and the trees, and as a result makes a strong case for his perspectives on art. It’s how every Art History 101 should be taught.

You are without doubt one of the best art historians of all time. Your teaching is in itself an artform. Thank you.

I find the writing on ancient gravestones deeply touching and proof of the universality of human emotion…some are very funny, some not all complimentary, and some full of such profound loving grief and the terrible ache of an empty place in the those who outlived the deceased.
