would love you guys to react to moonlight! its another lgbtq movie that specifically focuses on the black community (also would love if cojo was included in the reaction bcs i feel like he would really vibe with it, its got a very real and authentic feel just like this one)

As someone who grew up during this time and experienced relationships like this, the movie gutted me. I thought about it for months. It took me two years to be able to watch it again. The dad's speech is a masterpiece, and a masterclass on how to be a great father.

The monologue between Elio and his Dad is one of my favorite in any film. I wish you could have shown it in its entirety. It’s beautiful.
