Being a die hard Ravens fan, I was sad to see coach Macdonald leave the 1st time, and the second, but happy for his opportunity in Seattle, because we knew they got a winner and a leader! He always looked powerful confident and in command coaching in Baltimore, I would have never imagined how tough his road to get to be a SB winning coach actually was. This is real! Great interview!

Wow, what an absolutely incredible story of resilience and carving your own path in life. I knew he'd gotten to coaching in the NFL in a non-traditional way but had no idea HOW unconventional and what a total grinder he had to be for years before really getting a chance. I'm a Georgia Tech alum and we generally give 0 fvcks (pardon my language but the emphasis is necessary here) about any UGA grad's success but MM is to be admired for what he's accomplished and for being a 10 out of 10 role model of career resilience.
