Did you notice that was just Linda and a piano? No dancers , no back up singers, no band, no auto tune. Just her and a piano.

I worked at a record store in Memphis for 4 years when I was a teenager and singers/bands would come in off and on promoting a new album or a tour. Most were personable, but Linda rose to the top. She was friendly and gracious— just a stellar human being over and above her tremendous talent. Even more beautiful in person. Keep listening to her Saeed— she never disappoints.

Glen and Don were in her band before they formed the Eagles. Linda is just a worldly TREASURE!! Every time I hear Linda it gets me.

Don Henley specifically asked Linda to sing Desperado because they didn’t sell enough records and he felt she would sell them and she did. Mick Jagger did the same thing with “Tumbling Dice”. He changed some of the words for her version and she made a hit out of it too. Her voice is her instrument. Absolutely beautiful.

I first saw her on the Johnny Cash show when she was with the Stone Ponies and she was 21 years old. Years later I landscaped her parents house in Tucson Arizona and met her as she was there visiting. She was kind and friendly.
