I'll be honest, my initial feeling about her performance was that it was underwhelming compared to her other performances. Mainly because I didn't recognize the song (I grew up in a different time period), but after going back to familiarize myself with the OG, I realized her masterful, creative genius in reimagining it.  On top of that, I have to remember she's only 16!  Now, after watching this performance 10 times repeatedly, I'm just blown away.  So much intrigue and explosiveness.  Some might say this song choice wasn't very vocally or instrumentally challenging; it doesn't matter — she did that in her other performances. What she showcases in this performance is her incredible arrangement skills, creativity, and captivating stage presence. Vote NENE for the win.  Love your reaction BP!  Keep em coming.

Nene picked up the guitar at seven and learned by watching YouTube videos. She also plays the piano and has written and performed blues.

The Universe just sent us “a newborn ROCK STAR!” 🌟🔥 She shows us that you don’t need substances to be creative or a true rock star. I would like to share a little bit of her story with you. Nene began her guitar journey by chance; at the time, the government was offering a summer program. At that time, Nene was seven years old. She had intended to enroll in a computer class but overslept, and the class was already full. The only remaining option was a Western music course—specifically, acoustic guitar. According to an interview from her father gave, she received about 50 to 60 hours of instruction for a fee of 50 baht. She fell in love with the guitar during that time. After the classes, she studied on her own via YouTube and practiced singing by herself during the initial period. Her first guitar was a second-hand acoustic guitar with a warped neck, costing just over 1,000 baht.(30$) When she was around nine years old, the COVID-19 lockdown began, so her father bought her a second-hand electric guitar costing just over 2,000 baht to try out. She taught herself using YouTube, and a year later, she was able to play this song. The original version features two guitarists, but she plays it solo, combining both parts into one.
