  Sabertooth is everything wolverines hates and never wants to be. Logan clings to his humanity fighting all his feral traits while sabertooth has simply embraced the beast. This is one of the reasons wolverine has one of the best character arks in comics. The man fighting the beast inside.

  I'm glad that someone actually acknowledged that Sabertooth should have the edge in a 1v1 fight. Even though Wolverine has a better set of Adamantium claws and formal martial arts training; Sabertooth is much faster and stronger and is ALWAYS in Berserker mode while Logan has to activate his Berserker Rage state. I would have to agree that plot armor is usually why the writers give the Dub to Logan, because he's the anti-hero while Creed is the Super Villain.😅

  Despite Wolverine NOT choosing to apply Adamantium to his bones. I would make the debate that he keeps the Adamantium due to Sabretooth kicking his butt whenever he doesn't have the Adamantium. Sabretooth literally can break Wolverine's bone claws if they aren't coated in Adamantium.

  Glad to see one of my favourite villains getting mentioned a lot more lately. Sabretooth is rarely done justice, I feel. Any writer should have the following in mind when writing Sabretooth:<br><br>1. Sabretooth is vicious and cunning. He is not a dumb thug. He has a lot of personality as well, so if he works as a mercenary he’ll try to indulge his sadistic tendencies and take liberties while on the job. <br><br>2. Sabretooth may not be dumb but he is not a mastermind either. He’s not smart enough to become an unseen king of crime and it’s not really his thing, too.<br><br>3. Don’t bring him in the page if you’re not going to do him justice. Don’t have him fight heroes who can’t take him because you’ll have to nerf him. &nbsp;Don’t have him just fill up space and get rid of him by a fight off-screen or a quick slash or two and a couple of one-liners. A fight with Sabretooth is the main event. It’s a horror film, and you have a serial killer and a creature feature wrapped in one. <br><br>4. And I can’t stress that enough. Whenever Wolverine fights Sabretooth, it’s not guaranteed that he’ll win. In fact, it’s more likely that he’ll lose if he doesn’t fight like hell.

  It must be noted that the substantial weight of Logan’s adamantium skeleton serves two purposes that lends to an actual advantage over Creed. &nbsp;1: Logan’s living, training and fighting with an additional almost 300 pounds of dense weight on his frame has granted him more than superhuman strength that almost matches Creeds. &nbsp;His own blinding speed in combat (noted many times by opponents like Captain America, Iron Fist, Black Panther, and SPIDER-MAN) despite his extreme mass/height ratio only confirms his vast strength.<br><br>2: &nbsp;Those same opponents noted in my first point have repeatedly acknowledged that his adamantium skeleton lends to massive upgrades in his physical potency and resilience when brawling and, particularly, to the force of his already lethal blows (he’s felled mature trees with just his blows before in instances fighting Hulk, Sasquatch, and Wendigo). &nbsp;In the comics, remember that Logan’s style of fighting when facing Creed has almost always been more “take it and dish it back out” than utilizing his substantial advantage in fighting skills. However, it also can’t be denied that he’s won far more confrontations than he’s decisively lost throughout the very long list of their canon encounters. &nbsp;Many times, Creed has tried to actually kill Logan and ALWAYS failed. &nbsp;Logan, on the other hand, has almost never tried to kill Creed more than put him down. &nbsp;And in the rare occasions he’s chosen to make it final, he has— once lobotomizing Creed viciously and deliberately, and thrice actually killing him (once by beheading him, once by extracting his heart and another time by tearing out his spine). &nbsp;Eeeew!
