My fathers family was from Scotland and absolutely held to this idea of the first visitor. My father had dark hair and eyes and tanned easily, as did my middle brother, while my other brothers were either blonde and blue eyed or strawberry blonde and hazel eyed, and my grandmother and my aunt insisted on either my father or my middle brother once he was old enough visiting them right after midnight on New Years, and my father often visited others on New Year's Day.

Please reconsider the music played at the end of these longer videos. Something softer, perhaps? It’s significantly louder than the rest of the video and tends to be very jarring to those who’ve fallen asleep or are just relaxing watching them. It would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I like your idea for making these compilations. It would be really great if you could normalize the audio levels when you put these together so I don't have to adjust my volume when it switches between each segment. Thanks.

    Love you're channel.
You should also follow the trail of the Krapfen. It is a dish very popular around Germany, Austria and so on. It is a dish as old as the middle ages. I'd really love history informations. My grandma made them traditionally with plum jam.
Regards from Germany

I live in an area with a huge South Asian population, and I love that lights usually go up on houses about a week before Diwali and come down sometime in the first week or so of June.
