If there’s such thing as a toxic positivity then this is the opposite. This is like healing negativity

Everyone does a double take when Husk goes "Well let me just say you are correct!" xD

I think the reason why loser, baby is genuinely considered the most liked or favoured song in the track is because it’s all about encouraging you to be yourself; Embrace your flaws and acknowledge you suck sometimes and it brings you peace. It’s something so many people silently LONG for and can relate to

My daughter has been pretty much begging me to watch this. Loser, Baby song is her and my son in law's favorite.

 I highly recommend Hazbin Hotel.
The Cast is Broadway extra class.

Imagine a Disney Movie, placed in Hell, the Princess of hell being the main character and its mature content.

2 songs per Episode and everyone is a Bop!

One of the big reasons it blew up so much and why everyone already knew about it, is because it started as a youtube animation, with the pilot episode a few years ago. So there was a lot of hype around its official release.

The moment you said Cat's Don't Dance, I was immediately thrown into a flashback sequence of that movie. I also watched it all the time!

For a bit of context: Angel Dust, the person being down in the video, has been down and out for a long, long time. He developed coping mechanisms and a false persona to deal with the trauma, stress and self-loathing.
Part of that was to pretend like the debasing, humiliating work-environment and constant drug abuse were his choice, not something forced on him. Both Husk (the cat with wings looking fella) and others have tried to get through to him, but Angel had gotten used to pushing well-meaning people away.
The whole "aw chucks, it ain't so bad, you deserve better" routine is old hat to him and pearls off him like water on a duck.
To get through to him, Husk had to shock him out of that well-worn defense mechanism and get him to realize that there are people out there who get it and will work with him to get both him and themselves out of that or a similar situation.

It's actually a really clever bit of writing and the song itself comes at a time in the show where the audience really needed a pick-me-up because it had gotten kinda heavy.

It's so worth just jumping into the pilot and the series. As great as the songs are, they're SO much better in context.

The Hazbin Hotel series was created by Vivziepop, a content creator on YouTube. She also produced a pilot episode for Hazbin Hotel four years ago, which is available for free on YouTube. The pilot serves as a great introduction to the show's main characters. Additionally, Vivziepop does not issue copyright strikes against reaction videos related to her channel, ensuring that the Hazbin Hotel pilot remains accessible. However, the Amazon Prime series for Hazbin is under Amazon's jurisdiction, so editing may be required for it.
