  Ridiculous how they claimed Chris never attended Princeton due to Rory’s birth! Chris was never an involved Father, he could’ve easily went to Princeton without issue🤨

  I love Edward Hermann.  He played Richard Gilmore with dignity, grace and a dry sense of humour.  No one else could have played Richard Gilmore.

  The two best scenes with Emily and Rory is:<br><br>1. When Christophers parents fight with Emily and Richard and Emily is comforting Rory in the kitchen afterwards.<br>&quot;Rory, I know you heard a lot of talk about various disappointments this evening and I know you&apos;ve heard a lot of talk about it in the past. But I want to make this very clear. You, young lady, your person and your existence have never ever been, not even for a second, included in that list.”<br><br>2. When Rory runs away from home after she fought with Lorelai and sleeps over at Emily and Richard and Emily has bought Rory a pink toothbrush with sparkles.

  So funny when Lorelai asked for money, Emily said NOT SO FAST and that is EXACTLY what Richard said when Rory asked for $$$!!!

  The sad part is that Richard only cared about his own reputation and family name when defending Lorelai at the cocktail hour with Christopher’s parents. &nbsp;Nothing to do with him loving his daughter and wanting to defend her honor. &nbsp;All he could mention was the Gilmore name and how he had to deliver bad news to colleagues rather than a bragging story. &nbsp;No wonder Lorelai left and decided to basically raise Rory on her own. &nbsp;They would have likely kept bringing up the so called “hell” she put them through and holding it over her head that she didn’t protect the family and was leaching off of their money. &nbsp;That is basically all that Richard and Emily cared about: &nbsp;money, status and reputation (whether false or real). &nbsp;The fact that they even consorted with Christopher’s and Logan’s respective families after both surreptitiously disrespected both Lorelai and Rory respectively is astounding in and of itself!

  Christopher had the audacity to talk about Lorelai and Rory shutting him out and then make demands.—At the end of the day he neglected his responsibilities as a father and made NO effort to fight to be in Rory’s life! &nbsp;Rather haughty of him to think that he could just saunter back to their lives as if all was okay all of a sudden. &nbsp;Lorelai’s biggest mistake was ever faltering and going back to Christopher.
