  The Type 004 nuclear-powered carrier is under construction. It will be bigger and badder than the USS Gerald R. Ford. Several more of these will be built, too.<br><br>The US is so f**ked.

  The US has 11 carriers, but most of them are aging out.<br><br>In fact, the entire US Navy is pretty old. China&apos;s navy, on the other hand, is the newest in the world.

  All the US needs to do is to follow the Chinese way of win-win, mutual respect and benefits and non interference of each other&apos;s internal affairs. Compete fairly, work for peaceful co existence.<br>It&apos;s not that hard to do. <br>The world will thank you for it.

  Many western analysts think that missiles are still not the threat to American carriers making assumptions that carriers can move 30 knots or higher speed and can evade oncoming missiles, ballistics, cruises, or hypersonics. This is the degree of arrogance. They failed to understand that even tanks that can travel faster and having higher defenses, yet simple drone with mortar munitions dropped on it does so much damage. Now, imagine that China and Russia&apos;s missiles that are able to follow the carriers and hit them at mach 4 to 8, think of the damage that&apos;ll do to the ship, even with metals as thick as a tank. Wouldn&apos;t these missiles can penetrate them deeper and damage them greater? US carriers can&apos;t evade them and can&apos;t prevent them from breaking those carriers apart.

  If not for US President Bill Clinton ordered two US aircraft carrier battle groups into the Taiwan Strait on March 10–11, 1996.<br>The USS Independence and The USS Nimitz battle group. &nbsp;China PRC would not have today &quot;Carrier Killer Missiles System&quot;.<br>Of the 11 remaining US carriers, only 4 - 6 are battle tested, the other five are dock for upgrade and repair.<br>Today US only have 3 - 5 US Carrier battle group available due to ship repair and crew shortages of the total battle group.

  The EMALS on the USS Gerald R. Ford has been quite problematic. This is probably the reason Donald Trump has ordered all future carriers to return to steam-powered catapults.
