My favorite joke on this movie is when Brian says “you’re all individuals” and everyone says “we’re all individuals” except one guy saying “I’m not”.

"Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life" was once, and still may be, the most popular song played at funerals.

Trivia: As the troupe struggled with financing the movie, they got help from George Harrison (of Beatles fame) who funded 3/4 of the production budget (after the original investors pulled out because they feared backlash from the religious public) simply because he "wanted to see the movie". On this, Eric Idle commented that that's likely the worlds' most expensive cinema ticket.

You had seen that woman that you thought was the prettiest woman in the movie (The one with the gourd) before. That was Carol Cleveland. She was Zoot/Dingo in the Castle Anthrax scene in Holy Grail.

"It's symbolic of his struggle against reality" Life of Brian is my favourite of the two movies.
