  I hope you enjoy the update on the Audi! I never like to leave a good car down! She will be back but there&apos;s a fair few other part two&apos;s etc that need to be done first so you might not see her again for a couple of months...   Hi Ben , I work for a gasket specialist, we can make bespoke gaskets or send me one so we can scan it and cut to suit from various materials.

  Hi Ben glad you got it running eventually. However,if you&apos;d replied to my email offering help,i could have saved you a lot of time,pain and trouble. On my k jet shelf in my workshop, i have the correct fuel pump complete with check valve and noise suppressor &nbsp;NOS. A box of asst k Jet banjos NOS. The correct fuel filter NOS. The base gasket for the metering head NOS. Injector seals NOS. &nbsp;Ive even got a NOS fuel injection relay.

  Just had to comment on why I &nbsp;subscribed immediately. &nbsp;Working on these cis Bosch injection and 80&apos;s jetronic cars is on a level of difficulty that not many mechanics would dare to work on, much less YouTubers. &nbsp;Great video. &nbsp;Keep up the good work.

  Hi Ben another great video. Having worked on lots of cars with K-Jetronic systems back in the day. I would look at your Haynes manual find the chapter on setting the idle mixture. You will need a long 3mm Allen key, Adjust with the engine trying to idle, gently without applying downward pressure to the plunger. You maybe lucky to greatly improve things. Next job is to pull the injectors again, leave them attached like you did in the first vid and compare spray patterns on all injectors as the engine cranks, or just switch you fuel pump on. If necessary remove any poor injectors and soak overnight in carb cleaner or clean petrol. You can try blowing them out with you airline (we used to use a diesel injector tester with a pressure gauge and hand pump.) You will like the next bit, those style of injectors do respond well with a tap from a hammer to help unstick them , if required hit them on the machined hexagonal nut on the side of the injector just bellow the thread. Next-Fuel pump supply, some of the Bosch systems had a fuel pump relay that would only energise if the engine was &nbsp;turning &nbsp;over and the relay got a constant pulse from the crankshaft sensor, check your Haynes manual for info. They also had crash sensors/ switch so if the car was in an accident the fuel pump would have power removed. Finally I think you may have covered this on the first video but you need to remember that the power steering system is in fact a central hydraulic system that also helps the brakes function properly. Good luck with it all . There really is nothing like the sound of one of the VW/Audi five cylinder engines revving up, I did have a URQuattro in the early 90’s, how I wish I never sold that car.
