  My wonderful 15 year old daughter owns a record player and cd player. Will not entertain digital music. She is so switched on with wha is going on. She even walked out of a science lesson at school and said to the teacher “I’m going to the library to read because what you’re ’teaching me’ doesn’t make sense’”. She’s a rare breed👊🏻

  My born again Christian Father warned my brother and I about pop music in the late 50s. Needless to say, now, at 72 next week, I realise he was right. He was also talking about a One World Government and New World Order over 40 years ago, and I of course dismissed it thinking it would never happen in my lifetime. How right he was and how wrong was I!

  The Frankfurt School academics went to America in the 1930&apos;s to escape the NAZI&apos;s. &nbsp;Their aim was to destroy family values and debase society to the point of destruction. &nbsp;The ideas they spread are like seeds; they have to be planted and then germinate before they grow and bear fruit. &nbsp;It takes time to cultivate ideas. &nbsp;The fertile soil is the juvenile mind, but the planted idea does not begin to bear fruit until the juvenile becomes an adult and has offspring of their own. &nbsp;Each generation becomes more debased than the last. &nbsp;We are 3 or 4 generations on now.

  You can understand why people just want to tune out of society is quite worrying . Sometimes you just want to sit on a mountain just listening to the birds sing or just the sound of silence

  Dictionaries have changed definitions of pertinent words within the past few years. Old dictionaries are worth gold.
