  I always tell people who are thinking of getting new ac or furnace get the basic stuff because they work and are easy to service

  Stop changing refrigerants, and give me a basic ass AC with a simple blower motor, capacitor, and contactor... but those days are disappearing 😒

  That’s the same thing that scares me about selling inverter systems. You said it best, when they work they’re great but when they don’t work they are a pain in the ass! It really compounds the problem when it’s under warranty and they don’t have the part.

  I have been installing the basic systems with a capacitor, contactor and thats all. When a part fails then guess what? I have every part on my truck

  i rip the whole board out and replace with a simple contact switch to turn on compressor and fan with a normal thermostat in house

  Installed Daikin VRV heat recovery systems on June 2024 in Beverly Hills Ca &nbsp;, 5 x 20 ton and one 18 ton serving an apartment building , in one month after the start up which was done by factory &nbsp;technician , one of the 20 tons lost both compressors , so we called the factory and and they condemned not just the compressors but condenser fan boards , and inverter boards , which none of them were stock neither in supplier nor in factory , So July came with scorching heat follow by August ,5 apartments &nbsp;had no AC , and customers were pissed so much that they were going to hire a lawyer to sue us and the supplier and Daikin . Bottom line is people paying pile of money for these fancy equipment and when they need parts no where can be found . We&apos;ve got the parts &nbsp;by end of August and replaced them and no one gave us the reason why these parts failed . Bottom line is although there are more efficient equipment, but all that electronic gadgets are sitting duck to be failed , and the only source of getting them is the distributor or factory ..
