  When I hear the word game boy, the first thing i remember is when my father and I was about to buy a game boy around year 2000 or 2001, cant recall. <br><br>anyway, the best sales lady of all time recommended to buy me a game boy COLOR instead. because the game boy games are getting phased out and the original game boy isn&apos;t worth it anymore. to my surprise, my dad bought me the COLOR instead and that joy is something that I would never be able to feel again. I miss those times. <br><br>the caveat, my dad is the one who broke my gameboy. i was looking for weeks and cant find it. to my surprise, I found it in a drawer and the gbcolor has a huge hole at the middle. turns out he removed the buttons, and attached it to our new chinese DvD that can play NES games since its controller broke a few weeks ago. i was so upset.

  Doing some basic research shows the LCD screen size was dicated by LCD tech and cost and not chip price.

  IT FEELS LIKE THE EVERCADE EXP-R HAS TAKEN UP THE MANTLE OF THE GAMEBOY. SWITCH TO ME IS JUST A TABLET. THE GAME CARTS ARE SO SMALL IT DOESN&apos;T FEEL LIKE YOU BOUGHT ANYTHING. WHEN THINGS GET TOO SMALL THEY LOSE FUN.

  Well, they didnt just &quot;decide&quot; to use different screen tech, its because Nintendo president rejected the prototype because it was too hard to see. Then they switched.
