  Why is it showing signs of a life lived, showing emotions other than just placidity are offensive? Women have always been told we're too emotional, we're "hysterical". There's a super easy fix with tweakments, treatments and surgery! The ultimate combination of patriarchy and crapitalism 😒😒

  In the Barbie movie, Barbie turns to an old woman at bus stop who has very visible signs of aging. &nbsp;“You’re beautiful” says Barbie. &nbsp;“I know it!” says the old woman. &nbsp;It’s one of the best moments in the film. &nbsp;THIS was one of the core messages of that film, and it needs to be shared more than “I am Kenough”.

  Some people have commented that Alicia Silverstone and Claire Danes “over-act” and need to tone it down. When I find them to be so compelling. Botoxed faces are ruining movies and tvs and distorting the way people view emotions. It’s concerning to me.

  Every year, on my birthday, I think about my dear cousin who passed at the age of 21 because of a brain tumor. In our minds, he will be that age forever...and that is the only way that you can remain forever youthful: being tragically denied the opportunity to get old.

  My best friend died from cancer at 29. She would be 45 today. She always looked forward to getting older. I&apos;m not just aging naturally for myself, I&apos;m doing it for her. My hair is turning silver, I have sun spots and worry lines on my forehead... and I&apos;m damn proud of all of it.

  My little brother died in an accident at 18. One of my aunts said, &quot;He&apos;s forever young.&quot; I replied, &quot;No, he&apos;s dead. I wish I could watch him grow old. He would have looked beautiful with silver hair and laugh lines like mum. But I will never get to see that, because he is dead.&quot; But apparently that was an unwarranted outburst, and I am a bad niece. 😑

  we are not sending the right message about aging. <br><br>old people tell me every day that getting old is not fun, and they say this because of PAIN. they are in pain every day. especially especially especially women with osteoporosis who are hospitalized from simple falls and who scream in pain from having to lie down because their bones are so messed up. strength train, eat well, and stretch. you won&apos;t give a damn how you look when you&apos;re so sick from starving yourself that you can&apos;t move, can&apos;t sleep, can&apos;t live. <br><br>to women especially, your health matters, you need to eat, you need muscle, or you will be miserable.
