  Just recently moved to the Twin Cities  from Austin, TX. I had visited a few times before, but until I arrived here, I had no idea that I would love it this much. And, I can see why everyone I’ve met from Minnesota, prior to living here, held it so dear to their hearts. I’m absolutely amazed!

  Minnesota&apos;s theater &amp; music scene deserves a nod here, too. The Guthrie Theater, Jungle Theater, The Children&apos;s Theater, Theater in the Round, Chanhassen Theaters (to name but a few of that lively scene), the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, &amp; the Minnesota Orchestra, The Singers - Choral Artists of Minnesota, Vocalessence, are but a few of our cultural gems. <br>And, of course, Prince &amp; his musical legacy.

  Wendelin Grimm, a German immigrant who moved to Minnesota in 1857, created a winter-hardy alfalfa that allowed farmers to successfully grow alfalfa, despite the cold winters. Wendelin Grimm shaped alfalfa in the US with his hardy high-quality alfalfa. In fact, alfalfa in America today all relates back to Grimm&apos;s Alfalfa

  Really enjoyed this. I kept thinking oh I hope he mentions Stillwater, the lumberjack industry, more on mining, the sciences, early computer development etc etc, and then I realized that would make it like 10 hours long. You did a really good job. I learned quite a bit. Thank you for making this.

  I am a Minnesotan born and reared! My family came to Minnesota from Norway and Sweden, and the other side came from Alcese, France to Canada and then to south east Minn, Preston Minn. My family has been there since the 1860s. I love being from Minnesota, have lived in NW Iowa close to 50 years, always a Minnesotan. Get on the phone, talk to family, Minnesota accent returns, yea, sure ya betcha😊😊

  My family has been here for quite a while. We have our own street name “Robbins St” and Cromwell Ave. I’m also a band member of The Mille Lacs Band Of Ojibwe and great Grandson of the founder and main contributor of our Indian Health board want to say miigwech for the history you gave us
