Always check the drivers seat on a Land Rover they are known for staining, by the driver when the engine light comes on.

I've owed a 2017 Vogue for 3 years. Spent very little on it bar regular servicing, changed the belts, gearbox service etc. All about 3000 euros with an independent specialist. Nearly 100k miles on it, 30k are mine. Brilliant motor. Best I've ever owned. Preventative maintenance is the key.

Had my Range Rover 2017 3.0 diesel for 7 years, apart from yearly service costs, I've had to have the ac radiator replaced and regassed £600,Land Rover recalled it for a security update and "discovered" that it needed 4.5 k spending on it to replace gaiters steering components etc, took it to an independent Land Rover specialist £1300 later the car runs perfectly, set of 4 Pirelli fitted £800,  oil change every 5k miles, pulls a large heavy caravan from east coast 3 times a year to Cornwall, 60mph at 1800 rpm, doesn't miss a beat. It's such a pleasure to drive, I bought it with 20k on the clock, and driven 50,000 miles, I feel so safe driving motorways, quiet effortless motoring, I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

I bought one of those in 2014, kept it 6 years, did 70k miles ish, never missed a beat, just kept it fully serviced and gearbox fluids done. Obviously the media will be outdated now but you can uograde that relatively cheaply these days.

I have exactly that car, same age, deployable tow bar, like that one, deployable side steps. 1700w meridian sound, &nbsp;125k miles, &nbsp;107k when new... fantastic car...engine oil change ever 5 to 6 k miles or every 6 months... gearbox oil every 60k, diff oils evey 5 to 6 years... &nbsp;its a 14 year car... what do people expect... things go wrong with age for all cars.... take out fuel but include tyres i reckon on average about 2k a year on service and things that have gone wrong... rest is insurance and fuel... brilliant &nbsp;car, looks good anywhere and does everything you could possibly want, drive to and from soain 4 times a year, absolutely brilliant machine.... would I want a fiesta to do everything this does.... absolutely not.<br>Would I want a brand new car that bongs all the time, nope...

Loving this content Will. Ive owned four Range Rovers back to back, theres no better drive, have Full Fat SV now. No issues in any, getting them serviced regularly is key.

Nice video well explained, what people should realise is these cars are built for the wealthy or business people who can pay through their business accounts for them probably on a lease then after three years on to a new one, then they hit the used market with warranty, after that it’s hard to get a warranty so the repair bills are on those who got a luxury bargain great car to own but the repair is on you then , they are not your average cheap runabouts so you have to way up the pros and cons of owning a car that was originally built for those who can afford 100k plus
