My best photos tend to come from the times I take a small camp stool out with me and just sit and let nature fill back in around me

Very good tips. I programmed a button the camera to turn on/off the focus distance function. I also set my own custom ranges. I then can hold down the button and turn a dial to select one of the three ranges. Also nice that the screen shows if the focus limit is engaged. Pre-focus is also a very handy feature.

Lovely shots and great tips. I think my favourite photo is the one of the birdie balancing each foot on a different blade of grass. :-) I’m really inspired to get out and try this type of photography.

Hi Todd, this presentation popped up now, although it is a few months old. Nevertheless, a calm, wonderful presentation. I was into wildlife photography, but somehow left it somewhere. After quite sometime now I have again the interest and urge to start with wildlife, however focussing primarily on birds, got my 150-500 serviced. These guys literally train you to become patient, slow😊! Wonderful shots, which make us think once more, the world is full of such beautiful inhabitants and we are hell-bent on destroying everything. Cheers!

Very useful tips, thank you. On my OM-1 Mk2 I’ve assigned the in-camera focus limiter to one of the buttons, as not all my lenses have a switch. This works really well. I also use the function lever to switch between single focus, small focus point and continuous focus, larger focus area. Finally, I’ve enabled manual focus override during autofocus operation (with peaking). Again, this works really well.
