I'm feeling sad for him. I'm an old guy myself and thing I know now is that the things that make you you - the culture that you grow up in and your generation that made that culture - starts to die off gradually until is not your generation that creating the culture you are now living in. You become a stranger in a strange land. Everything you always were, is now only a memory inside your head.

Something in his childhood completely shut him down. I imagine it was his mother who sounded like a narcissist? Gambling is one of the worst things to be addicted to. It's not a substance that kills the body, it kills the heart and poisons relationships. He was a fine actor. Always Zhivago.

My dad died in 1967 i was 9 years old . I had a dollar and went to thee movies by myself . That movie was Dr Z. It Is my all time fav . Movie

I loved him even as a young girl. I remember he had such sensitive eyes. So sad being treated by his mom like that.
