My dad was stationed in Malaysia, he said they had a SAS unit on their camp. They'd go out on mission in full kit and return a few weeks later looking rather disheveled. Only once did an officer pick them up on their appearance. He only ever did the one time and he was put in his place

There is nothing Amateur about Drinking British Army Black Tea, it's an industrial grade liquid, that could clean powder fouling from most weapons. It's drunk strong and wet, like the soldiers drinking it, wet most of the time in the Welsh mountains and Borneo jungle.
