Your channel was the first one that started getting me thinking about what comes after releasing the album. It actually led to a really great release and year for my band The Funeral Procession. Some thing I want to add that we have had success with on youtube especially is posting shorts and NOT sending alerts on the upload to our subscribers. It's under license section you just unclick the alert subs. The idea is that the algorithm alerts your fans and if you have a few dead channels it will kill you in the algorithm. If you alert no one it simply presents it to active viewers and in our case it has led to some really great growth in our channel. Best of luck out there anyone who can use that info to grow their channel and feel free to use this Jesse if you were unaware I learned it from a programmer channel talking about algorithm the guy's name is Thor if you want to look him up.

I’ve watched this multiple times theres so many gems in this without the unnecessary 30+ minutes of fluff that most creators in this space have just to make videos longer

Not gonna lie, I got off the whole 'engaging with social media and trying to promote my music' thing for half a year.. But now I am feeling up for it again, coming back to your channel and still finding some really useful advice helps so much to motivate me to NOT stop next time I feel down about it!

Thanks for the great advice mate, only new to music production and recording so learning as I go, it does get a little embarrassing when you get only 3oo views over a few months and others may get thousands in weeks or even days, i do understand my music is not for everyone and that's ok I am having so much fun doing this and whatever happens I will keep going and hopefully improve as i go , thanks again for the content, regards D4

I put in my 2 weeks a couple days ago to my construction job to pursue my music career. Risky move sure, but to be fair I just graduated college and im in a field I truly hate. I have had small hits of success here and there with my project crimewave without putting too much effort into marketing. I am going to do all I can to make this happen in half a year. Thank you for your tips, they are taken to heart. I am also going to focus mainly on boots on ground marketing and social networking.
